The annual German-American Day celebration and German-American of the Year party will be held at the Carpathia Hall. Hall opens at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm. Edelweiss is dancing during the evening. Admission is $30, which includes dinner. Cash bar.
German-American Day celebrates the arrival of the first Germans to the Americas in 1683. President Ronald Reagan declared the first German-American Day on the 300th anniversary in 1983.
